Our Teams

Colemanstown United F.C. fields various teams in competitions at local, regional and national level. We field one adult Men’s Junior team (A team), one adult Ladies team and both an Over 35s Men’s & Women’s team. In addition to the above, we also have a strong academy from U6–U11 who are engaged in internal mini leagues hosted by various clubs while we also participate in the U10 & U11 Galway FA Development league for both boys and girls. We field competitive teams for both girls & boys from U12 up to U18 level. Our Over-35 Ladies and Men’s teams were double champs in the summer of 2025, with our men’s team winning the RDFL Over-35 league and our Over-35 ladies were history makers.

The club membership is primarily drawn from an 8 mile radius of Colemanstown and its environs. Our ethos is concerned with the development of young players and with contributing in a positive manner to our local community who have supported us financially and otherwise down through the years since the club’s foundation.

Director of Football

In Autumn 2025, we announced Kara Mullins as our new Director of Football. This appointment marks yet another significant step forward for the club, bringing fresh vision, structure & ambition to every team wearing the green jersey. Kara brings with her an exceptional wealth of experience, both domestically and internationally. A proud international honoree for Ireland, she further honed her skills and expertise on the global stage, including a distinguished tenure playing in the United States. Her extensive background, combined with her passion for the game has made her an outstanding role model for both our players and coaches. Kara’s vision and leadership will undoubtedly prove invaluable as we continue to build on the strong foundations laid by her predecessors. We are confident that Kara will inspire both current and future generations of players, and we look forward to the exciting chapter ahead under Kara’s guidance.

Club Sponsors

Massive thanks to the many sponsors associated with our club.

GRD (Galway Rural Development) Team

Sincere thanks to Rianan Keenan and Pakie Hynes of GRD, along with supervisors Ita Kenny and Kathleen Cannon, whose dedication keeps our clubhouse & all our facilities running smoothly. Their hard work, often carried out quietly in the background, ensures our facilities remain in excellent condition year-round & it certainly doesn’t go unnoticed.

We also acknowledge PJ Connell, who retired in 2025. PJ was an instrumental figure in the upkeep of our facilities for many years & his contribution has left a lasting mark on the standards we enjoy today
