U17’s win in Salthill

Our 1st team’s poor form continued last Sunday with a 1-0 defeat to Caherlistrane side, St Pat’s. It was a poor opening half with neither side playing good football.  The poor playing surface made it difficult for either side to create any chances.  The St. Pat’s goal came late on in the first half from a set piece. Colemanstown did push on for the last 20 minutes in search of an equaliser but could only create a couple of half chances through Alan Finn and Shane Clancy. Our under 17’s carved out a 2-0 victory over Salthill in the Drom on Sunday. Eamon Mannion headed home 2 goals from corner kicks taken by Paddy Mullins and Liam Carty. Good performances on the day from Paddy Mullins, Chris Sheridan, John Lally, Tom Broderick and Alan Fahy.
