U12 Girls Div 2: Coole 3 – 1 Colemanstown. In windy and difficult conditions and missing a number of players through illness and holidays, our U12 girls suffered their first league defeat on Monday away to Gort side Coole. Coole struck first with a quick goal but Colemanstown equalised with superbly worked team play for Emily Tuohy making her forward line debut to calmly finish. The sides went in 1-1 at the break but two quick second half goals by Coole made it 3-1 and despite their best efforts Colemanstown couldn’t breach the Coole defence. The girls will dust themselves off and regroup for the visit of Kilshanvey in two weeks time with the league title still very much in their own hands with three games left to play.
