The best and biggest local soccer news of the week has to be the call-up of Tessa Mullins to represent Galway WFC which is the senior Womens Soccer team in Galway playing in the Women’s National League. Tessa was a key player in Colemanstown ladies team double success last season when she clocked 5 goals from her central midfield position. There’s an opportunity now though to see her in action in a different setting; the first of which takes place on Saturday 18th March in Eamon Deacy Park at 6pm vs UCD. The Galway WFC team already played Derry city in a challenge game 2 weeks ago and Tess was instrumental scoring a goal and getting the full 90mins game time.
