It was a bad week all round for all our teams in action with our ‘A’
team losing to table toppers East Utd mid week on a 2-0 scoreline. A
much depleted side also lost 4-1 to MacDara on Sunday with Joe
Finnerty netting the sole Colemanstown goal.
Our under 11 team received a mid week drubbing at the hands of Tuam
Celtic while our under 13’s let their 2 goal advantage slip to lose to
Cregmore 3-2. Paul Lally scored from close range on 10mins following
a great pass from Ronan O’Neill. On 20mins O’Neill made it 2-0
following great play from Aidan Monaghan and Lee Murphy. Cregmore got
1 back before the interval to ensure a hard fought 2nd half from both
sides. Cregmore got 1 back with 10mins to go and snatched the
equaliser in the last kick of the game to earn all 3 points. We wish
Ronan O’Neill a speedy recovery on the arm injury he sustained during
the game.

There is a great buzz in the area in the gear up towards the run which
is preceeded by a kids 1km fun run which starts at 11am .
