The closing draw in our 45 club was held last night, Sunday in Burke’s, Colemanstown supervised by our treasurer, Kenny Duane. The lucky winner of the weekend away for 2 or cash alternative was Martina Donnellan, Gurteen whom I’m sure will enjoy every bit of it. The club wish to invite all players, past players, non players & supporters of the club, both male & female who wish to maintain a healthy lifestyle & general wellbeing to participate in general circuit training/workout in District Fitness, Athenry (more than likely on Tuesdays weekly but the day will be confirmed later when we have an idea on the number of participants) For more information contact Gerry Moran directly on 087 6599483. Our A team play Athenry in a friendly on Thursday at home in preparation for their first league game on Sunday vs Knocknacarra KO 730pm. Our B team will play this year under management trio of Kieran O’Connor, Gerry Broderick & Damian Mannion. They play Galway Bohs on Saturday in their first league outing also at home, KO 2pm. Our AGM is scheduled for Monday next in the clubhouse at 8.30pm; we urge all players & supporters to make every effort to attend.
The club secretary has a number of complimentary tickets available for the Women’s Senior International Ireland vs Slovenia for this Wednesday, 20th August in Tallaght Stadium, KO7.30pm.
