End of Season Wrap -up

Well our season has almost come to a close with the exception of our u9’s who take part in the Salthill Devon knock out blitz this Saturday 23rd. Colemanstown are drawn in group A and their first game versus  Hibs or Kilshanvey takes place at 3pm. The top 2 teams in each group play the finals in Eamon Deacy Park.
On a football note we offer our congratulations to the A team on winning the Western Hygiene Supplies Division 1 title this season. Golden boot winners are shown in the attached PDF’s which shows top scorers for all our teams this year. Tom Flan did the business in front of goal for the A team with  21 goals and wasn’t followed too far behind by Kegs who scored 17 goals in all competitions this season. Such was the value of this scoring machine duo to this team that they scored 38 goals between them. A Team Goalscorers 2014 15 sesaon

For our B team newcomer Niall Skehill was top scorer with 9 goals just pipping Shane Bailey by one goal. Skehill is as prolific, talented and determined on the field as he is quiet, unassuming and humble off it, you could compare him to Lionel Messi…. but minus the wealth!! For our u18’s Ronan O Neill & Sean McGee were joint top scorers with 4 goals each to their credit. U18 Goalscorers 2014 15 sesaon

Thady Moran topped the goal scoring table for our u13’s with 15 goals to his credit with Kellie Brennan hot on his toes with 11 goals to show. U13 Goalscorers 2014 15 sesaon

Our club AGM will be scheduled in the next couple of weeks so a long summer break will be available to all our committee. Thanks to the long serving committee and team managers this season for their hard work & integrity.

Should anyone have any community news or other over the summer months, please contact the club secretary so that our website can be updated accordingly. Remember: this is a community website; not just for the soccer club.
