Our ‘B’ team finished their season with a 6-3 loss at the hands of Oranmore/Maree on Saturday last. They netted 3, one of their best goal tallies all season but still came out on the losing side. Eoin Folan & Adrian Burke (2) were the scorers as manager Gary Broderick has now bid to help out Giggs for the remainder of Man United’s season. Meanwhile our ‘A’ team lost out 1-0 in the Joe Ryan Cup with a depleted team conceding a sloppy goal in the first half in what was a potentially mortal blow. Colemanstown were the better side , securing most of the possession for the entire game but just couldn’t score. They play Corrib Celtic on Wednesday in Annaghdown at 7.15KO in the league which also appears to have slipped further away from them at this stage.
