Our under 6’s – U11’s under the guidance of a team of academy coaches play in mini leagues hosted by various local clubs & in the U10 South Galway Development League & U11 Galway FA league. They play in line with the FAI’s PDP (Player Development Plan) with small sided goals. We cater for both boys & girls in our academy and in the 2018/19 season with the assistance of the FAI’s Soccer Sisters Programme we developed girls football. Colemanstown United F.C. was founded in 1982. We are a community club run on a completely voluntary basis based in the heart of the countryside, approx 17km from ‘The Fields of Athenry’. The club is an integral part of our community as it thrives on fantastic goodwill and community spirit. We have underage teams competing from U12 up to Youth level (Schoolboys) and this season, for the first time since the clubs history we will have an underage girls team, as well as the continuity of adult soccer for ladies and men and an O35s team. Our boys and girls academies U6s-U11s are growing year on year and participate in line with the FAI’s PDP programme.
