Colemanstown Golf Society was formed in March 1997 and has grown steadily over the past number of years.  The society has approx 7 outings per year and an eagerly awaited weekend away.  Our first officers of the society were: Captain: Kevin Devally; President: Fr. Vincent Lawless (RIP); Secretary: Ann Ruane- Devally (RIP);  Treasurer: Charlie Porter; Founder member: Gerry Broderick.  On average we have  35 active members per year.  For up to date details of our members & outings click on the link hereunder:

  • Colemanstown United F.C. was founded in 1982. We are a community club run on a completely voluntary basis based in the heart of the countryside, approx 17km from ‘The Fields of Athenry’. The club is an integral part of our community as it thrives on fantastic goodwill and community spirit. We have underage teams competing from U12 up to Youth level (Schoolboys) and this season, for the first time since the clubs history we will have an underage girls team, as well as the continuity of adult soccer for ladies and men and an O35s team.     Our boys and girls academies U6s-U11s are growing year on year and participate in line with the FAI’s PDP programme.
