Colemanstown ‘A’ 1; Mervue Utd 1
Our A team lost out on an 81st minute lead goal to Mervue who scored
in injury time to ensure a share of the spoils. Mervue had most of
the possession but yet failed to threaten. Colin O Grady scored for
Colemanstown when he cooly slotted the ball to the side of the keeper
following a low cross from Brian Costello. It looked like
Colemanstown may hang on to a much needed win to help keep them in top
flight football next season but Mervue took their golden opportunity
well in the dying minutes
