Under 12’s Colemanstown 3: Corofin 2
Chances fell to both sides in the first half with Keith Murphy having
the bulk of Colemanstown’s efforts on goal but it remained scoreless
at the break. Keith Murphy was first to pounce after the re-start when
he cooly found the net following an inch perfect pass from Lee Murphy.
Murphy again, made it 2-0 soon afterwards following good work from
Paul Lally on the wing.  Our 3rd goal came 10 mins into the 2nd half
when Ronan O’Neill scored from close range after good work from man of
the match Keith Murphy on the edge of the box.  Colemanstown then lost
keeper Keith Connell through injury and wec wish him a speedy
recovery.  With no alternative keeper it unsettled the Colemanstown
players to some degree and they hard to fight hard for the remainder
of the game not to conceed and eventually held out 3-2 winners
