Rescheduled Colemanstown 10K Run: Just over 2 weeks away

The rescheduled Colemanstown 10k is not that far away – Saturday September 30th. Taking part in this event is more than just taking part in a 10k road race. It’s taking part in something much bigger than that. It’s being part of our ever helping community and great community spirit. Whether you run with friends, slow jog, run in style or walk it; whether you aim to set yourself a new PB, or beat the 1 hour mark or aim to just finish the course or complete it for a challenge, we look forward to seeing and welcoming you all – both previous runners and new runners to Colemanstown bright and early on Saturday morning 30th September 2017.  The race starts at 12 noon sharp so we will start gathering you for the start line at 11.45am as the start line is 1km away. You can use this as your warm up. There will be plenty of marshalls around the course to support and encourage all our runners, joggers and walkers. The route is relatively flat with very few ups and downs and certainly no heartbreaking hills to test you.  Please also take care when running the course as local residents will be out and about and the roads will not be closed. We ask you to car pool, if at all practical as parking is limited due to the current laying of our 2nd playing pitch.

Our usual array of homemade savoury and sweet confectionery will be available after the race. You should have this well earned after your run.  All participants will receive a text from red tag timing after the event and the full list of results will be posted here. Keep in touch here and spread the word! Sat September 30th at 12noon & not forgetting the kids run at 11am.
