Welcome
Founded in 1982, Colemanstown United has played a huge part in our community since its foundation. It is an integral part of our community as it thrives on fantastic goodwill and community spirit.
We are proud to be a club for everyone and welcome members from all abilities and backgrounds. We accommodate both male and female playing members of all ages (from U6 upwards) who participate in the Galway Football League and our expanding facilities are free to all users. Our primary focus is the participation and competition in team sports; however, as part of our clubs Community Strategic Plan we aimed to develop a family friendly community facility for users to meet, exercise, relax and enjoy. We have in place 2 pitches (a full-size, floodlit astro pitch and a grass pitch), 200 seater spectator stand incorporating changing rooms, showers and kitchen; fully lit tarmac surface walkway incorporating gym equipment, wheelchair accessible gym, eco area, sensory garden and playground. We are far more than just a football club; we hope we can offer you a wonderful life experience for being part of our club.
We are 100% a community based club and are totally dependent on our volunteers – coaches, administrators etc. for the daily running of our club. If you think you can help us out in any way or indeed if you have suggestions for improvement, please contact any committee member or email us at colemanstown@galwayfa.ie. Together, we can make our club better.
