I hope you’ve all had a good summer and you’re ready for a fun season of soccer. The 2012/2013 local soccer season kicks off on the weekend of 25th/26th August for all junior teams and the following weekend for all underage teams. The season opens with league competitions in all divisions. Our ‘B’ Team numbers are extremely limited at present so we urge anyone wishing to commit to playing ‘B’ team football this year to urgently contact Kieran O’Connor, Adrian Burke or Gary Broderick. U-14’s have their first ‘meet and greet’ of the season when they commence training under Gary Broderick on Thursday 23rd August at 6.30pm. All old & new players invited to come along and build on last years league success. U-15’s & U-16’s commence training this Wednesday from 8-9pm under the guidance of Ritchie Lally & Bobby Masterson respectively. Players can sign up on the night. Underage membership fee this sesaon remains at €30. ‘A’ team train on Tuesdays & Fridays at 8pm. They play Tuam Celtic this Thursday in Abbeyknockmoy in the semi final of the Keane memorial tournament
