Should you be looking to eat a fine big Easter egg this Sunday, that is, without the guilt trip, well you’ll have to earn it first!! So why not come along for the 2nd successive Colemanstown 10k run commencing at 12noon this Saturday April 7th. Closing date for entries on line via www.runireland.com is Thursday April 5th, however registration will be accepted in the clubhouse at Colemanstown United up until 11.30am on the morning of the run. Registration fee is 20E. It is a relatively flat fast loop, the same route as that run last year and is a great course for a PB. Cash prizes, sponsored by Frank & Bernie Burke, Colemanstown for 1st, 2nd & 3rd male & female category winners and male & female O40, O50 & O60. Children’s run takes place at 11am with medals presented by Galway hurler Cyril Donnellan & camogie star Niamh Kilkenny. All children participating will receive a medal & goody bag. All proceeds raised from this event will go towards the provision of a 2nd playing pitch at Colemanstown United.
